Race Report - Adria

WSK Euro Series Round 4

26-29 June 2019

Adria this weekend was the hottest of the year: 40 degrees. Fortunately the races were held at night time so for the participants of the last event of the WSK Euro Series it was not too bad.

Lorenzo was prepared for his second outing in the OK senior category, but had some misfortune early on. In the first lap of qualifying reining world champion Lorenzo Travisanutto broke his kart in front of him causing a collision between them.

Then, a big accident happened at the end of heat 3 when Gabriele Minì’s engine seized and Lorenzo could do nothing to avoid hitting him.

Despite this, starting P20 in the prefinal he managed a brilliant race finishing P13. Prepared for a challenging final, after a steady start, Lorenzo showed a quick pace that allowed him to finish P12.

The good news is that Lorenzo finished two finals in a row with the best competitors in the world in this category. Now we’ll go to France to prepare the last round of the European championship that will be held in two weeks.
